Traveling to Datça is quite the commute. We're here to help. 

DLM AIRPORT
Dalaman Airport (DLM) is the closest airport to Datça.  

To get to Dalaman, you can either fly from Istanbul (IST), or other options from Europe.

A prime example of a flight pattern from New York to Dalaman:

JFK - IST - DLM
(please allow yourself 2-3 hour layover time to make your connection)
(please note there are two airports in Istanbul. IST is the international airport and the one you want. SAW is the domestic airport and the one you DON'T want)

You will have to buy a Visa in Turkey. It is advised to carry cash to pay for it. The market cost right now is $50. At IST airport, the Visa office is right next to passport control.
