They met in high school and were nothing more than friends. The two attended the same young adult group at Water of Life Church post-high school where they grew in friendship. In September of 2018, Ryen asked Stephanie to attend a Dan & Shay concert and the rest was history!

Ryen was able to pull off one big surprise. On June 17th, 2023 family and friends were celebrating Ryen's recent Sheriff Academy Graduation at the Dillon Lake Beer Festival in Dillon, CO. The weather was stormy and hailing as many took shelter in bathrooms. Within the hour the sky cleared and the sun came out. Everyone made their way down to the beach to enjoy the nice weather where Ryen popped the question! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Castle Rock!
