Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 18th so we can have an accurate headcount for catering.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Those listed on the invitation are invited to attend by name or by the term "guest."

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we would like to keep this day an adult-only occasion as much as possible.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

After driving in through the front gate, follow the main road all the way up the hill. There is plenty of free parking near the welcome center.

Question

Can I Uber/Lyft there?

Answer

Yes, there are plenty of rideshare options available in the area. Please refrain from driving if you plan to consume alcoholic beverages. The front gates close at 11:30 PM, so all pick-up vehicles should be at the arboretum before that time. If you call an Uber/Lyft, make sure to use the address 100 E. Northwestern Avenue, or you will be dropped off at the wrong side of the property.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. Since our ceremony is taking place outside on grass and the cocktail hour is in the Out on a Limb treehouse, we suggest wearing comfortable flats, sandals, or block heels (no stilettos). You can find more info/ideas here: www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-semi-formal

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors with a backup rain location, and our reception will be in a tent behind the welcome center. All locations are within a 5-minute walk from each other. You can find a map of the arboretum here: https://www.morrisarboretum.org/sites/default/files/2023-04/MA%26G%20Map%202023_0.jpg

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We chose not to register anywhere - your presence is the best gift we could ask for. If you would like to bring a gift or card (which is completely optional), we will have a table at the reception to receive your warm wishes.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We have an amazing photographer who will be capturing the day, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy the event. We're happy to share the photos with all of you when we receive them! With that in mind, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. You're welcome to do so during the cocktail hour and reception (no flash photography). Thank you!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, and we will have a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property.
