Brian and Stacy both grew up in Dutchess County, New York. They first met in May 2015 at Brian parents' restaurant, where Stacy was a hostess during her senior year of high school and Brian was helping out after his freshman year of college. They began dating when Brian asked her out in July of 2016 - their first date was at Bonsai I in Poughkeepsie, arguably still the best sushi restaurant in the area. Many more sushi dates and long, meandering conversations about everything under the sun followed. Stacy and Brian were long-distance during the first year of their relationship, until Brian transferred to Drexel University in the summer of 2017. They were thrilled to be together in Philly, where they've lived ever since with their two cats Socks (adopted in 2019) and Hudson (2023). Although the two of them eloped and were privately married in April of 2023, they later realized that they wanted to celebrate this milestone with their loved ones. In the second half of 2023, Brian and Stacy came to faith in Jesus Christ and were renewed in their marriage. Their hope is that this wedding will allow them to declare their love and commitment to one another before God, family, and friends.
