It all started in December 2023— with a swipe, a spark, and a two-hour FaceTime that felt like minutes. From the very beginning, our conversations flowed effortlessly, filled with that unmistakable feeling of something special. Our first date in January 2024 was meant to be a couple of hours... but we managed to squeeze in coffee, a brunch, a picnic, a bar, and dinner all in one day; and ten hours later, we were still talking. We haven't stopped since. Since then, we’ve shared adventures that took us from coastlines to cobblestone streets. In San Diego, we kayaked in the ocean, sipped cocktails by the water, and soaked in slow mornings and salty air. During separate trips to Europe, fate (and a little spontaneity) brought us together in Spain—where a surprise flight turned into beachside laughs, paella, and a hidden speakeasy we won’t forget. Then came Cabo: a dreamy beachside escape with whales breaching in the distance, endless tacos, and lazy afternoons by the pool. Each trip, each laugh, each unexpected moment has only brought us closer. And then came the proposal—bringing everything full circle. It was a scavenger hunt across all the stops from our very first date, with a clue (and a surprise family member!) waiting at each one. Loved ones had flown in from different cities and even countries—just to be part of the big moment. The final clue led her to Dolores Park in San Francisco, where I was waiting with the final question—and the entire park erupted in cheers as she said yes. Now, we’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter—with all of you by our side. From a spontaneous first date to a lifetime of shared adventures, we can’t wait for what’s to come.
