We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We FIRST met after an Assumption football game I went to watch with a group of hometown friends. We exchanged hellos and some laughs before going our separate ways. Fast-forward to July 2017, a couple of friends and I went to Anthony's apartment in Medford before a night out in Boston. Anthony looks at me, extends his hand, and says "nice to meet you!" totally forgetting we had already met once before (brutal, I know). Needless to say he spent the rest of the night making up for it. He had me hooked by telling his usual lengthy stories and had me talking and laughing all night. We totally clicked and he asked me for my number at the end of the night. That's pretty much when we thought, "Okay. This could be something."

Anthony had big proposal plans for a trip to Aruba we were supposed to take in December 2020. However, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to postpone the trip. He made other weekend trip plans for that same weekend that also got cancelled. With traveling out of state shut down, he decided to plan a fancy dinner in Boston. However, in classic Jessica fashion, I was suspicious of 4pm dinner plans, and since I wasn't hungry (because seriously who eats dinner at 4pm?!) I asked if we could stop at our house first. We had just bought our first home in September and it was finally finished after 3 months of renovations. We were all dressed up and did a walk through of our finally finished home! We reminisced about how far we've come and how excited we were to start our lives together. I turned around and he was down on one knee in our living room. It was absolutely perfect.
