Quite possibly a favorite area among locals. Old Town Alexandria is full delicious restaurants, fun bars, creative cafes, and so much more! On Saturday mornings they have a huge farmer's market in their town square. Old Town is full of little boutiques, shops, ice cream shops, wine bars, and chocolate shops. It is a colonial town with cobblestone streets. Luckily, it is where our hotel is located. It is a must-see area!
Super cute though small neighborhood in Alexandria. It's full of cafes, restaurants, bars, dogs, fitness studios. May we recommend Lena's Wood Fire Pizza; we recommend making a reservation to dine in their Oasis or The Loft seating areas. More restaurant recommendations: Evening Star, Del Ray Cafe, Cheesetique, Stomping Ground. Reservations are recommended!
Come explore Washington D.C. and and all the national monuments and museums. The Smithsonian, The National Gallery of Art, The Bible Museum, The African American Museum are just a few to name. Many museums are free to enter so check out the websites. Some require reservations.
The Village at Shirlington is a quaint neighborhood in Arlington with lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops. It's a fun place to walk around. It is also next to Four Mile Trail, which is a pedestrian and biking trail that connects multiple trails in the northern VA area.
