Eric and Allyson grew up with one another in the small town of Thomasville, Georgia. They became good friends in high school with many classes together, but they went separate ways for college. Eric attended Shorter University in Rome, Georgia while Allyson attended the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. After graduating, they both moved back to their hometown to start their first jobs. They ended up rekindling their friendship and began dating in 2016. They moved to Statesboro, GA in the summer of 2018 for new jobs and got engaged February 7, 2020.
