Wink wink. The Lincoln Park Zoo was founded in 1868, which makes it one of the oldest zoos in all of North America. It's also one of the only free zoos in the country! From giraffes, to polar bears, to lions, there's something for every animal lover here! We can't wait to celebrate our wedding at this historic (and fun) landmark; make your way over after our ceremony to check out the zoo before our reception begins.
The second-largest art museum in the country, the Art Institute houses a treasure trove from around the globe. The collection of impressionist and postimpressionist paintings is second only to those in France, and the number of surrealist works is tremendous.
The public artwork – also known as “the Bean” – has become a must-see item on any Chicago itinerary. The sculpture was unveiled at the opening of Millennium Park in 2004. It now serves as a famous symbol of the city and is one of Chicago’s most photographed attractions. Selfies permitted.
