What hotel should I book?
Answer
We have reserved a wedding block for our guests at the Omni Hotel. This hotel is right across the street from the reception venue, The Vault Garden. Please use the link found on the "Travel" page of this website. We have also included two other suitable hotels nearby if you prefer a different stay, however, we highly suggest the Omni!

Where is the Ceremony location?
Answer
The ceremony will be held on the 4th floor of SF City Hall. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early and head up to the fourth floor where you will see one side of the building roped off for our party.

Can I bring a date and are children welcome?
Answer
Our wedding is an adult only, intimate wedding of our closest friends and family. In addition, our venue only allows up to 70 people in attendance, therefore, we are unable to allow additional guests. We are aware that scheduling time away from family and work may pose challenges, so if this time of the year does not fit into your current situation we sincerely understand and hope to see you all soon. We will gladly accept your prayers and warm wishes from afar!

What is Black Tie dress code?
Answer
We have requested that you dress to the occasion in Black Tie attire due to our elegant City Hall venue! But what is considered Black Tie? Typically, men don tuxedos or dinner jackets with a traditional tie or bowtie. Women tend to wear long dresses, usually below the knee or floor length, in an evening-appropriate fabric: think velvet, silk, satin, chiffon and lace. Despite the name, a black-tie dress doesn't necessarily have to be black. Block heels, wedges, and platforms are encouraged since you might be up and moving more than a typical wedding!

How do I get to and from the Hotel and the Ceremony location?
Answer
The hotel/reception is about 10 minutes (1.8 miles) away from the ceremony location at SF City Hall. We suggest if you are staying at the hotel that you call an Uber or Lyft to and from the ceremony, this should provide you the most ease and help you avoid parking issues!

Answer
If you are residing at the Omni Hotel, they offer valet parking at $72. Please visit the following website for more information about directions and parking: www.omnihotels.com/hotels/san-francisco/property-details/directions SF City Hall, additionally, has an underground parking structure if you choose to drive. You can find directions and information on parking for City Hall here: www.sfcityhallevents.org/directions-parking/ Finally, if you are driving from the ceremony to the reception you may park in the underground parking garage for The Vault Garden. This garage does cost, however, our venue will provide you with a complimentary parking voucher if you ask our host! What do guests do in the hour between the ceremony and the reception?
Answer
Though the official ceremony ends at 4:00pm we will be headed to the front of the building to take some group pictures. In addition, you will need some time to travel from the ceremony to the reception (10+ minutes). However, if there is a long period of downtime you can always explore the rest of the SF City Hall building as it will be open to the public. Or you can check out our "Things to Do" page for an extra stop nearby! If you get to the reception early you can still enter the bottom floor of the building where there are public bathrooms. In addition, there is a large, off-the street outdoor area you can wait for the reception to open.

Will there be food at the Cocktail Reception?
Answer
Yes! Our reception is Cocktail-Style, meaning there is NO seating chart or full-course meal. However, we will have plenty of buffet-style hors d'oeuvres provided to satisfy your appetite as well as a full cocktail bar. There will be both vegetarian and gluten free options. We chose this option so that you all will be free to mix and mingle! There will be multiple seating options: lounge chairs, couches, dining tables, and standing cocktail tables. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive about 10-15 minutes before the ceremony begins at 3:00pm. Don't forget to account for SF traffic and parking time!

Our registry is located on this website. You can purchase gifts and send them directly to our residence or bring the gifts along with you! On the registry, we are also featuring a Honeymoon Fund that you can donate to directly online.
