Where do we park?

Answer

There is NO On-Site Parking! Please park at the Travelers Rest Motel and take the shuttle to the Wedding Venue.

Question

When is the Shuttle picking up & dropping off?

Answer

We have a shuttle transporting guests between the Travelers Rest Motel to the Fassitt Mansion for one hour before the ceremony and one hour after the reception. The first and last pick-ups are scheduled as follows: Travelers Rest Motel to Fassitt Mansion First pick-up: 2:50PM (priority seating to family members and bridal party spouses) Last pick-up: 3:50PM Fassitt Mansion to Travelers Rest Motel First pick-up: 10:15PM Last pick-up: 11:15PM The shuttle will be making additional pick-ups and drop offs between the first and last pick-ups times.

How does one identify the Shuttle for your wedding?

Answer

We will be giving the driver a sign to place in their window that will say “Woodington Wedding”.

Where can we stay over-night?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Travelers Rest Motel. Reserve your room as soon as possible under the Woodington Wedding block. Rooms should be reserved 30 days before the reservation. Can I bring my kids?

Answer

NO. Sorry but except for Megan and Nick’s nieces and nephews, children are NOT invited to the ceremony or reception. We love all of your kids but are very limited on number of guests at this venue and have decided to limit the children to only our nieces and nephews. We hope you understand.

What should we wear?

Answer

The venue is a Farm. We will be mostly outside. Since the end of October has questionable weather dress in layers with comfortable shoes. It’s a wedding so dress at least semi-formally. Thank you.

Your wedding is so close to Halloween, can we wear costumes?

Answer

The wedding is not Halloween themed but you all know how much We like to dress up. If you would like to change into a costume at the reception after dinner is served, you are welcome to do so. There will be young family members in attendance so please keep it appropriate.

Can we take photos or video during the ceremony?

Answer

Please Don’t. We have hired a professional photographer to capture the special moments so please let them do their job. Sometimes people trying to grab photos or videos get in the way of the professional photographer. Please enjoy this moment in person with us and save all your photos and videos for the reception. Thank you!

We have planned a lovely buffet planned that will have some vegan and gluten free options for you to choose from.

Is the Ceremony and Reception at the same location?

Answer

YES, we are getting married and having our reception at the same location. We will also be staying there for the wkend with some family and a few members of the bridal party. The venue is referred to as Fassitt Mansion or Stoltzfus Bed & Breakfast. https://www.stoltzfusbb.com/

Are you Registered for gifts?

Answer

We have everything we need. We want you to come and enjoy our special day with us. If you would like to grace us with a gift, please consider contributing to our honeymoon. We will have a honeymoon fund box to collect donations at the wedding and we also have a registry on this website for some trip related gift certificates. Thank you!

Do you have a wedding Hashtag?

YES we do! It is #woodingtonwedding. Please use this for all photos you take and share on social media. Please do not share photos of the bride or groom until after the ceremony is over. Thank you!

Will your dogs be there?

Answer

YES!! Our furbabies, Hermie and Paprika will be in attendance and will have a ‘babysitter’ for the day as they enjoy the festivities and you can give them some love and attention if you like. We apologize in advance if you get barked at. They are all bark and no bite.

Can we feed your dogs human food?

Answer

NO, please do not feed our dogs human food. If some were to get dropped and scarfed up, well accidents happen. But it would be far better for their health if you give them some dogs treats that will be provided.

About How far away is the Venue?

Fassitt Mansion is approximately 1 Hr 15 Min to 1 Hr 30 Min away from our general area in Bucks County PA. If you are not from the general area, we suggest you plug the address into a GPS.
