Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA) is a 3 hour drive. We recommend renting a car at the airport as Sicily is not known for its public transport or high tech ride sharing options.

Accommodations
Given the limited number of hotels within the proximity and since we wanted everyone to be able to stay together, we have reserved accommodations for our guests as an option. The reservations are made for both Friday and Saturday night and as a thank you for coming to Sicily to celebrate with us, we will be covering the cost of your room for the night of the wedding, along with coordinating transportation for the weekend’s events. After you RSVP we will reach out with more details. If you wish to stay at another hotel and organize reservations / transportation on your own, we can provide additional suggestions for hotels in the area.

Kayak
Search Kayak Cars to find a rental car at the airport. Of the two times Enrico and Sondra have been to Sicily together, Enrico has crashed the car twice, so we recommend full insurance OR a better driver than Enrico. We also recommend renting a car at the airport and to request an automatic if you don’t drive stick!

Sixt My Driver is an option for those who do not wish to rent a car and would like to schedule a ride between the airport and your hotel.
