1986-1988: We walked the same halls of Showalter Middle School. We have some memories but nothing sticks out 1992: We meet through a classmate from OSC and have much to talk about. 1993: Getting to know more about each other we become best of friends February 8, 1994: We break through the friend walls and start our new life together. Although I'm pregnant from a previous relationship... He hears that childs heartbeat and loves us both unconditionally. He was there to welcome Magdalena to the world a few months later in May. We plan on having another child and Nakita joined us in June of 1995. We planned to have our wedding August 8, 1998, knowing our girls would walk down the aisle as our flower girls. We don't remember why we broke it off but our relationship ended before Nakita was a year old.
This year began in high spirits for Sherri but not so much for Jeremy. She calls to offer a shoulder or a friend to talk to. That's all it took. In no time at all - we are back to fools we were 20+ years ago. Only stronger, smarter and with the ability to learn from mistakes and knowledge to live life to the fullest. We visit places in Seattle we always wanted to visit but never did. Talk about things we talked about in the past and laugh about it. We learn that we still have plenty in common. We both still love Legos! We also learned that we have both changed a lot in the last 20 years, often having to remind each other of that fact. Our favorite conversation is our story as we believe everything happens for a reason. We know that God has been placing us in each others paths for many years and we finally listened.
Seaside Oregon On the morning of my birthday, my sister Angela wants to spend some sister time together shopping and get some brunch. After shopping is done its time to meet the guys at the beach, She's walking behind me talking about my jeans... I see the guys... I see roses... I see a heart in the sand... I hug him thinking its a happy birthday thing. He talks about our past, present and future... he gets down on one knee and of course I said yes!
