Travel & FAQs

Question

What airport do I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport to the resort is The Cancun International Airport (CUN). We recommend that people book their flights to arrive by Thursday May 19th and stay through Sunday May 22 in order to attend all the wedding events and festivities! Discounted room rates are held for guests from May 17-24, 2022 for those who wish to extend their time in paradise.

Question

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

We have set up round trip shuttle transportation from the airport to the resort for all guests attending the wedding. Upon your arrival at the Cancun International Airport you will see a board with our name on it and a shuttle will then bring you from the airport to the resort in groups. In order to schedule your airport transportation you will need to submit your flight information to Shaadi Destination website.

Question

What are the immigration requirements for travel to Mexico?

Answer

Travel into Mexico requires a VALID PASSPORT, even for US Citizens. Please ensure that your passport EXPIRATION date falls after NOVEMBER 19, 2022. If you are a CITIZEN of the US, UK, CANADA or JAPAN or if you already have a PERMANENT RESIDENCE PERMIT or a VALID VISA for any of those countries, you DO NOT REQUIRE A VISA to visit Mexico for the purposes of attending our wedding. Yay! Indian Citizens WITHOUT a valid US visa or who are NOT permanent residents of the US, Canada, the UK, or Japan will need to apply for a TOURIST VISA before traveling to Mexico. All travelers will need to fill out a Multiple Migratory Form (FMM) on the plane or on arrival to the Cancun Airport. Once you get to immigration and customs at Cancún airport, the agents will give you the bottom half to keep until you leave the country. It is VERY important to keep this secure until you leave Mexico. You will be asked for it at your departure from Mexico.
