Sangeet and Mehndi

6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Indian and Western Cocktail Attire: Western options include cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. Please no beachwear.

Our Sangeet, a pre-wedding celebration to recognize the union of two families, will be held in the Poseidon Club. Mehndi (Henna) will be offered at our sangeet between 6pm-8:30pm. Be ready to eat, drink, and dance the night away!

Baraat and Anand Karaj (Wedding Ceremony)

8:45 am - 12:00 pm

Indian or Western daytime formal. Western options include tea length skirts or dresses, maxi dresses or suits in lighter hues. All colors and prints are welcome. During the ceremony, both men and women will be required to have their heads covered.

The traditional Sikh wedding ceremony consists of several rituals, and will begin in the morning with the Baraat (a celebratory wedding procession for the groom's side involving live music and dancing) followed by the Milni (an exchange between families) and Anand Karaj (Sikh Wedding Ceremony). During the ceremony, seating is separated by gender and not by bride and groom side. It is customary for seating to be on the ground, but chairs will be available for those who need them. Please enjoy breakfast prior to the ceremony at the breakfast buffer After the ceremony, please enjoy a vegetarian langar (meal) at Bhogali restaurant or feel free to explore one of the many resort restaurants
