One of the things we love about living in Minneapolis is the wide array of breweries. We discovered Modist's beers when Jess' brother, Jake, was visiting and it's one of our favorites! The brewery is kid and dog-friendly until 10pm. We plan to have Beau make an appearance. :) We have a small lounge area reserved, so please stop in for a drink if you can/want to!

We suggest taking Lyft or Uber. There is street parking and a ramp (aka a parking garage) if you would prefer to drive.
Downtime
3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
We are not doing a first look, so we will need some time to take photos after the ceremony. That means there will be a short "break" in the day - about 90 minutes. We have some recommendations if you prefer to grab a drink/relax in the Northeast neighborhood instead of heading back to your hotel. 1. Indeed Brewery: Our reception is located in an event space above Indeed which also happens to be another of our favorite breweries. 2. Spyhouse Coffee: A great local coffee shop if you need a pick-me-up. We recommend trying an Iced Spygirl! Spyhouse is not far from Solar Arts, but you would probably want to Uber from here. 3. Nye's Bar: This piano bar is just a few steps away from Our Lady of Lourdes and on the weekends Happy Hour runs from 11am - 5pm! 4. Sonder Shaker: A cocktail bar also right around the corner from Our Lady of Lourdes. 5. Centro at Popol Vuh: Mexican street food and yummy cocktails right across the street from the reception venue.
