Is there electricity?

Answer

No electricity at any of bell tent sites or A-Frame Cabin. The bathhouse and outhouse run off of the sun and there are no outlets for a hairdryer or curling iron. One less thing to pack :). A charger for your phone/tablet is provided in each tent.

Where is the bathroom?

Answer

The bathhouse and outhouse are located approximately 250 feet from each site. The big top tent is about 350 feet away. It also has its own port-a-potty if you need to go in the night and don’t want to walk that far. It is an outhouse with a modern seat. No flushing water - just a pit.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

There is no dress code. No need to be fancy unless you want to be. Since we will be celebrating outdoors, please dress comfortably for the summer temperatures and areas of uneven terrain. Please wear whatever you feel best in! Ladies - Sundresses or flowing dresses since it will be hot out, sandals, or flat shoes. Gentlemen - Breathable fabric since it will be hot out. Shorts, pants, polo, or button-down shirt. Please wear whatever you feel best in!

What should I pack?

Answer

Bug spray, sunscreen, towel, bathing suite(for the sauna), cooler, ice for your cooler, etc. *Camping chair! Each site has their own chairs but we cannot move them to other bonfires so please bring your own so we can all sit together around the bonfire. Brett and I have 2 extra camping chairs so let us know if you don't have one.

Are their showers?

Answer

Yes. The bathhouse has a hot water rain shower indoors and an outdoor shower for those hot summer days. There is also a shower and full bathroom(with electricity) in the Geodome that Brett and Michelle are staying which everyone is welcome to use.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

We will be taking pictures with the photographer right after the ceremony with everyone. Brett and Michelle will take pictures before dinner so in the meantime, enjoy drinks and yard games.

Do I need to pack my own food and drinks for the weekend?

Answer

-Breakfast is provided by Lost Woods in the Barn on Saturday and Sunday which is bagels and coffee so bring any other breakfast foods you like or want to cook over the bonfire. -Lunch on Saturday will be provided. -Dinner on Friday and Saturday will be provided. -Pack whatever camping snacks or want. We will bring all the smores essentials. -Please bring whatever drinks you want during the weekend. Please bring your own cooler to store your drinks in. Let us know if you don't have a cooler. The nearest gas station for ice is about a 6 minute drive from the glamping site. -We will have beer, wine, liquor, pop, and water provided at the wedding.
