All passports must be updated to travel to Mexico! Your passport cannot expire within 6 months of the travel date. Please update passports ASAP as they are experiencing delays.
Beach attire! Hawaiian shirts, shorts, flip flops, sun dresses, anything beachy! Cocktail attire is welcome too!
Testing was remove in May 2021 to get back into USA.
Valid passport that does not expire within 6 months of travel date. Mexican Tourist Card: DO NOT LOSE THIS CARD! A Mexican tourist card will be provided by the airline on your flight to Cabo. Both portions of the card must be filled out and presented upon arrival in Mexico at customs. Please safeguard the exit portions as you will need it for your return flight home. Just a note: if they give you any sort of documents on your flight, it is good just to keep those handy in case you need them on your return flight home.
Yes you should be about $100 ish in cash for tips for shuttle drivers, taxies, any gifts downtown Cabo. Los Cabos will take American money, so you do not need to exchange for pesos.
As you still have to be cautious anywhere you go (even in USA) yes, Cabo is very safe! I recently went on an all girls trip in January 2022, I was a little nervous about it being unsafe but I felt totally safe there!
Best to book flights as soon as possible. West Coast Coloradoans - United Airlines will fly direct to Cabo from DIA. The airport is Cabos San Lucas (SJD). Southwest also has a flight to Cabo (airport is Los Cabos, SJD). I am sure American Airlines and Delta have flights to Cabo as well. East Coasters and Michiganders - This is a little more complicated as many don't have direct flights. I would recommend flying into Denver, Albuquerque, Phoenix, Dallas Fort Worth, Houston, etc and then flying to Cabo. You may have to book a few flights (I am sorry!! but the wedding will be fun!)
I am working hard to arrange shuttles from the airport to hotel. Once I get RSVPs and dates of when people are arriving, Debi will work on scheduling shuttles so people can ride together to the hotel depending on when their flights land.
Room block website coming soon. Please check back Please contact Debi Kasen (either email or text and refer to Paige and Ryan Meigel wedding) for any room block question. Debi@romanceglobetravel.com, 480-432-9132
Unfortunately no, we have a limited number of guests so we kindly ask for you not to bring kids unless they have been specifically invited.
We do not have a typical wedding registry. We are an established couple with all the pots/pans/mixers/vacuums/plates/silverwars ect we need. We are asking a lot from our guests to come to our wedding so please don't feel obligated to get us a gift. But if you feel inclined to give us a gift, we ask that you please visit the registry page and pick something to contribute money towards
We are flying in May 9 and flying out May 14
If you have any questions that come up please feel free to reach out (texting would be best) to Paige or Ryan. Paige - 864-449-0991, Ryan - 303-906-7717 Room block questions - Please contact Debi
