Zach and I met in September 2018 after both swiping right on the dating app called Tinder. Our first date lasted about 5 hours or so and we awkwardly hugged each other good bye. Zach walked home that day thinking I wasn’t too interested in him. I famously told my friend Maggie that I thought the date was ‘Ehh’. The next day was a Monday so I messaged him to say thank you for our date and that I hoped he had a good day. There was a glimmer of hope and we decided to see each other again. Our second date we went into the City to go to the feast. It was a bit of a disaster because it was so crowded. We hightailed it out of there and went to a nice restaurant for a calm dinner outside of little Italy. That night we took an Uber back to my house and we watched the one and only Vegas Vacation where I was snoozing on my couch by the time they were at the Hoover Dam. Zach being a perfect gentleman called himself an Uber and said it was time for him to go home. I gave him the cheapest peck on the lips as if he were my Grandma. Over this period of time I had started to get to know him. I also stalked his social media like any woman would do (FBI status over here!) and saw photos of him with his children that truly melted my heart. On our 3rd date he came over on a Friday to cook for me the first of many amazing dinners. Well Friday all of sudden turned into Sunday! He never left and I was perfectly ok with that. It was a very fast and a bit of a whirlwind romance. But they say when you know, you know. And I knew it and so did he. The rest as they say is history!
