We met during the summer just after graduating high school, through a group of mutual friends. A few days before we officially met, one of us had noticed the other and casually asked a friend about him—never expecting anything to come of it. Not long after, we both attended the same pool party with friends. Throughout the day, several people commented that we looked cute together, though we laughed it off. At the time, neither of us was looking for a relationship, and we were perfectly content keeping things light and friendly. About a week later, however, things naturally changed. What began as a chance meeting and an easy friendship grew into something far more meaningful. Over the years, that first summer became the beginning of a story neither of us expected—one filled with love, laughter, and a little bit of magic. And as with all great stories, we are excited to turn the page and live happily ever after, surrounded by those we love most.
