This is a story of love that was set into motion by events that unfolded decades ago and thousands of miles away. Two friends grew up together in the town of Ahmedabad, going from school mates to becoming family. Bhadresh & Mayen stood at each other’s weddings, each destined to marry their own future wives from Baroda. As the two friends moved to America to start their own families, their first born sons Sapan & Naman grew up together, as their fathers did decades before. Along came Jill, and as she and Sapan bonded over countless summers, their time together at Drexel University in Philly, and many vacations together, their friendship blossomed into a young love. Along came a four-legged child, named Gryff, and it was the start of their own family. As the flame burned brighter, their connection deepened and the rest of Sapan & Jill’s story writes itself. Twenty years after this story began, a ring, a proposal, and a celebration made this bond between two families official. Today we celebrate this journey, from friends to partners in life. Sapan and Jill were brought together by family, but were destined to fall in love by fate.
