Question
How should I get to and from the venue?
Answer
For the reception, we are providing a $20 voucher for any Uber trips to and from the venue between 4pm Saturday and 4am Sunday. There are limited numbers of credits and number of Ubers in the area so we ask guests to share when possible. We will share the link later in the week!

Will any ceremony be outdoors?
Answer
The Hindu ceremony will be indoors in the morning. We plan for the Christian ceremony and cocktail hour to be outdoors (weather permitting). We will go back indoors for the reception.

Where should I go during the break between the Hindu and Christian ceremonies?
Answer
The Hindu ceremony will be followed by a vegetarian south Indian lunch. Following this, there will be a few hours during which guests are welcome to go back to their hotels to rest or explore the nearby town. Unfortunately, guests won't have any access to the venue in between the two events. We ask that you please be back at the venue by 5 pm sharp as the Christian ceremony will begin then.

Should I rent a car?
Answer
Rent a car will provide more flexibility to get around the Snoqualmie area as well as explore Seattle nearby attractions. However, there are many rideshare and taxi options in the area to get you between the airport, hotel, and venue if you prefer not to drive. Based on how many people stay in Issaquah, we may provide a shuttle from the venue to the hotel but will update the website with this information in Spring of 2025.

What should I wear?

Please see the schedule page which has appropriate attire listed for each event. If you would like, you are more than welcome to change outfits in between the Hindu ceremony and the Christian ceremony.

Where can I buy Indian formal wear and what should I buy?
Answer
By no means are you required to wear Indian formal wear to the Hindu wedding. A dress or slacks with a nice shirt or a suit, is more than okay! If you would like to wear Indian wear though, below or outfit options and websites you can order from. For women: Sarees, Lehengas, Salwar kameez sets are all outfit style options for women.
