Jake and I met in the most serendipitous of ways, all be it, quite fitting for us! It was our sophomore year of college, the beginning of a new semester. I got to my Monday morning Differential Equations class 20 minutes early so I could have a seat in the front row. In another dimension, Jake was running late to his first class of the new semester. 9 am rolled around and there was only one seat left in the classroom, right next to me in the very front row. The professor started his first-day speech but of course, only a few words in, and the door swung open. Jake walks in with only one place to go, the last open seat in the class, right next to me. The rest is history!

After almost 5.5 years together, Jake carried an engagement ring around the world and proposed on August 6th, 2023 at sunset on Tel Aviv Beach!
