It was the first day of my EMT class that I met Patrick. He was the class leader and giving us tips for the EMT class. It was not until my last day of EMT school that Patrick came to visit. My instructor Beth told me to back board Patrick, since I was practicing my skills for the national exam. I was back boarding Patrick with straps and the C-collar when I attempted to boost him on the board only to fall over laughing. Fast forward to the day of my national exam where we had to perform practical skills. I was waiting for my results and my instructor Beth took a picture of us. Little to my knowledge she emailed that photo to Patrick because he previously asked who I was and the rest is history.
