The ceremony is at 3 p.m. However we recommend getting there at least 30 minutes prior to ensure a smooth timeline. You will need to take time to take a short walk from where you park to the venue.
Yes! We are having a cocktail attire dress code. No jeans please! We get that it's a hot summer wedding and will be understanding, it's just encouraged you're a step above casual.
We can not fully predict the weather, but August in Wisconsin is always hot. The average high is 79 and a low of 58. We definitely suggest wearing clothes for the hotter weather but bringing a light jacket for later in the night.
Heritage Hill does have a parking lot but... it is relatively small. Luckily there is parking available on the surrounding streets!
It is a pretty steep hill to come down, but don't worry! We have rented a golf cart to assist in bringing people down and up!
Our wedding is outdoors, but the answer is a big no. Heritage Hill is full of beautiful historic buildings and with them being old - they are irreplaceable. They have a strict policy that no one can smoke on the grounds anywhere. If you want to smoke you have to go up to the parking lot.
Yes! The entire day will be outside. We have rented a big tent where the reception and dinner will also take place. The bathrooms and bar area are in a building right next to the tent.
We are allowing children from immediate family as well as children traveling in with parents. However, we encourage parents to use this evening as a "date night".
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
After the ceremony, the new couple will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Since the ceremony and reception are in the same area we encourage guests to sight see in the park, grab some drinks, and get to know their new family!!!
We ask you to kindly turn off your ringers during the wedding ceremony and refrain from taking photos. We have professional photographers on hand to capture all the special moments and are excited to share their photos with you.
No. Please let the bride have her day.
Yes! The drinks are on us, so get ready to celebrate!
Yes. An RSVP is absolutely required for everyone. It is essential in planning ceremony seating and reception meals. If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we provided, it will be marked as a "no"
We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited to those on the invitation. If you have any questions, we will be more than happy to answer.
No. For the ceremony and dinner sit wherever you please!
