The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. Please arrive about 15 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.
Our venue has free on-site parking, which is indicated by signs for the Texas Discovery Gardens. We encourage guests to Uber or Lyft from their accommodations downtown to ensure safe transportation back from the event.
Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. If it rains, we will move the wedding to be totally indoors.
The dress code for the wedding is formal wear. For men, this may include a jacket and tie with slacks or traditional suit; a tuxedo is not required. For women, options can include longer gowns, dressy jumpsuits, and sophisticated cocktail dresses. Please also keep in mind our ceremony will be outdoors.
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We'd like everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures, which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!
While we love children, we are asking that this event be primarily for adults, and invitations will include the names of any older children who are invited.
The venue is just east of Downtown Dallas. If you are staying in or around the Dallas area, it should be about a 12-15 minute Uber drive.
Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you - get ready to party!! For this reason, we encourage you to Uber/Lyft to and from the venue. Please make sure you have a way to get home safely.
