Hotel Accomodations

Answer

A limited number of rooms are reserved under the at the Boston Marriott in Peabody, MA, roughly 20 minutes from the venue. Reservations can be made by calling the main hotel number at 978-977-9700 and referencing the Shemanskis/Fortunato wedding. Room availability is on a first come first serve basis! 2 night minimum stay required; guests planning to only stay Sunday night will need to book outside of the block. Additional hotels are listed in the Travel & Accommodations tab.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, but no jeans or khakis please! Also, be mindful of shoe selection given that the venue is a farm and events will take place outside on grass and uneven surfaces.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm. Please plan to arrive by 4:15 pm.

Will the ceremony and reception be inside or outside?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be on site. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We have two professional photographers for the entire day. We invite you to be fully present during our ceremony and kindly ask that all phones and cameras remain out of sight until the end of the ceremony. You are, however, welcome to take all the photos you’d like during the reception!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Guests will be greeted at the entrance of the farm and directed to the parking lot on site.

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love everyone’s children, we have decided to keep our celebrations to adults only. We hope you understand our wishes and take the opportunity to enjoy a night out!

Will there be a vegetarian meal option?

Answer

Yes, please request this option when RSVPing. Please also include any allergies or diet restrictions catering should be aware of in order to accommodate your needs.

Alcohol/smoking policy

Answer

There is absolutely no smoking, vaping, or open flames allowed on site, per venue policy. Alcohol will be served, but no shots will be permitted.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes, handicap guests will receive accommodations as needed. Guests can be escorted to the outdoor ceremony, as well as into the barn.
