Our favorite local cheers bar. Rolling selection of craft beer on tap and take-in food friendly, with food carts a block away. Pollo Norte - a great place for lunch or casual dinner is right next door and you can bring your food over to the bar.
A great German beer bar with a large selection of food carts and bars nearby.
Portland's most comprehensive whiskey and bourbon library. It can be difficult to get into so we recommend calling ahead or checking their website before showing up :)
For cocktail lovers! Fun and decadent tropical drinks with good eats. Highly recommend the Pina Colada!
Quiet place for wine tasting and shopping for unique wines near the hotel. A brainchild of two great restaurants in Portland that we also recommend - Canard and Le Pigeon.
Authentic Italian in a football themed bar. We recommend this spot for anyone with a passion for European football and really good Italian.
Upscale steak house for those looking for a culinary experience.
Check out Ecola State Park, Oswald West State Park, and then stop into town for people watching, shopping, and explore all the local eats and breweries! If you are coming from out of town, this is a must do if you have a day to explore!
Scenic mountain lake with an easy hike around the lake - views of Mt. Hood where you can rent paddle boards, swim, hike, and hang out for an afternoon.
Viewpoint above the City with a historic mansion to tour. Check it out and then go to another adventure in the area like the Rose Gardens!
Beautiful and historic rose garden - bring the camera and enjoy views of the City from above. There are lots of hiking trails in the area and you are within walking distance of the Portland Zoo and Japanese Gardens.
Beautiful architecture and landscaping for a peaceful break from the City.
Oregon is home to the Dundee Valley with lots of great Pinots. Our favorite wineries are Alexana, Rex Hill, Maresh Red Barn, Penner Ash, Ponzi, Day Wines, L’Angolo Estate, Alit, Hawk's View, and Argyle. Check out one of our favorite and very unique breweries on your way back - Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery. Google Maps recommended :)
Take a trip to Hood River- watch the kite surfers and stop in at Phriem or Ferment Brewery! Solstice Wood Fire Pizza for tasty pizza in the park! Hikes to check out on your way include Multnomah Falls (great for a pitstop and quick picture), or for those looking for a true PNW adventure and have a day to spend - Cooper’s Spur on Mt. Hood.
Take a stroll (or a run) around the largest urban park in the US! Then unwind with some food and beer on NW 23rd Ave!
Check out lots of cute boutiques on NW 23rd Ave, Mississippi, and Division streets and shop to your heart’s content! Bonus: enjoy no sales tax!
A gem of a place! Southeast Asian inspired food. You can’t go wrong ordering anything off the menu! Add a funky cocktail on the side!
Ryan’s favorite podcast host, Dr. Andrew Huberman, came to Portland and claimed that Little T had the best croissant. Even better than ones offered in Paris! The next day Ryan was in line and confirmed it is the best croissant!
Our favorite neighborhood breakfast shop. Located in downtown Kenton. We recommend grabbing a delicious baked good or breakfast sandwich and then walking over to see the Paul Bunyan statue!
We recently celebrated our 7 year anniversary here! The food is a blend of Dutch and Indonesian! Sounds a bit odd but it’s top notch! We got the Singapore style Dungeness crab. Chef’s kiss!
A fun gin and whiskey distillery! The summer cocktail flight is where it’s at! A++
