What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony and reception is cocktail attire.

Can I bring a guest or my children?

Answer

Please refer to your Save the Date or Invitation. If "& Guest" is listed, you are welcome to invite a guest. If "& Family" is listed you are welcome to bring your children. If neither are listed, we request you only bring your fabulous self!

What are the meal options?

All entrees will be served family style. If you have any dietary restrictions please include that information with your RSVP.

What is the nearest airport?

Answer

The nearest airport is Portland International Airport (PDX). It is about 15-30 minutes from the Canopy Portland hotel depending on traffic, and approximately 30 minutes from Bridal Veil Lakes.

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend the wedding?

Answer

We strongly recommend that everyone be vaccinated and boosted before attending the wedding. If you are not, we request that you let us know in advance.

Can I drive separately to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

If you prefer not to ride the bus you can drive separately to the venue. The drive takes about 30 mins from Portland. There is a gravel road that you will drive on as you get closer to the venue. There is plenty of parking onsite.

Are the ceremony and reception outdoors?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception are outdoors. The PNW evenings can get windy and chilly once the sun goes down. We recommend bringing a jacket.

How do I get to Bridal Veil Lakes?

Answer

There are several ways for you to get to Bridal Veil Lakes (location of ceremony and reception). 1. Buses: There will be two buses that will depart from the Canopy by Hilton Portland Pearl District Hotel at 3pm. The buses will leave Bridal Veil Lakes at 10:30pm to take attendees back to the hotel after the reception. 2. Drive yourself: There is plenty of parking onsite at Bridal Veil Lakes if you want to drive yourself. 3. Uber/ Lyft- This option is not recommended since it's about ~30 min drive to the venue from PDX. It will likely be expensive.
