Both are thrilled to be gaining Ryan into the family. Especially since Ryan seems to love and tolerate Nina’s particular crazy quite well.

Kathy and Robert raised the slightly rebellious, lovable, nerd that is Ryan. Both have always been there to love and celebrate Ryan and his successes, and have been nothing but welcoming of Nina into their family.

Sarah has been Nina’s partner in crime since the summer of 5th grade when they met, played catch, and never looked back. She can always bring out the awkward and weird of Nina in the best way. Sarah is also the only one who can manage Nina’s lack in decisiveness and still make sure she stays on track with wedding planning and maintains sanity.

Evan has been a staple in Ryan's life for over 10 years now. The two met in the cheese isle while both working at target. Their eyes met, each made some kind of sarcastic comment... and the rest is history.

Mara is Nina's little sister. Nina used to sit on Mara and push her off the couch, and Mara used to bite, ahhh sisterly love. These days the two share a love of adventure, food, and always encourage one another the chase their dreams. And occasionally Mara still bites.

Jasyn is Ryan's little brother. As his big brother, Ryan passed on his love of video games, the arts, and cars. As siblings they grew up playing in their grandparents orchard together, snuggling up to their matching felines, and of course knowing just the right way to make the other nuts the way only a sibling can.

Alana is Nina's older sister. She has always been there to ensure Nina remembers to enjoy the silly things, knows how to adopt an animal without telling their parents, and knows how to time the perfect sarcastic joke.

Elvira Sanchez

Though she be but little she be mighty full of awesomeness. Ryan met Elvira while working at target. She somehow convinced him to get outside and play some basketball, and then proceeded to include him in all kinds of mischief for years to come.

Justin Uhrich

Justin is Ryan's cousin on his father's side. The two have been getting in trouble together for as long as they can remember. These days it's all the late night phone calls, laughing at inside joke texts, and playing games into the early morning hours. Though they are separated by states, you'd never know it from how close they are.

Sarah adopted Nina when Ryan finally brought a cool girl to the marioparty. The two bonded over the life as the second fiddle to their boyfriend's bromance and love of smashbros.

Jessi Kauffmann

Nina and Jessi found each other through love of the outdoors, good food, animals, and people. If the two weren't already destined to be friends, the unfiltered Jessi that was witnessed when Nina picked her up from her still, very drugged up state after her colonoscopy, sealed the deal.

Ryan knew Nate was going to be important to him as soon as he passed Ryan the first free breadstick over the Target Pizza Hut counter top. They may not always see each other that much, but when they do, there is nothing quite like it.

Lucy came brightly into Nina's life when the two worked at whole foods. They shared laughs about the crazy customers, love of being outdoors, and fun in picking on Ryan from across the store.

Debby is Ryan's cousin on his mom's side. She has always been there for Ryan to share in laughs and love for their fluffy feline friends. She even managed to still want to spend time with him after having him as a roommate in his early 20s for a few months.
