WE DID IT! Read about how we met and the proposal below!

Rozalen was trying to make her way selling real estate in Austin, but that required a part-time job (probably why she is no longer in real estate). She found part-time gig on Craigslist at the accounting firm of FKS&P and she met Tom that very first day she was introduced to everyone. However, she was seeing someone at that time and didn't really think much about it. Time passed and it didn't work out with the guy that she was seeing. She went to get drinks with a co-worker after work, where they ran into Tom. They called him over and even though he was embarrassed he did have a drink with them. After he left, Rozalen told her co-worker how cute she thought Tom was. A few weeks after running into Tom at the bar, came the annual FKS&P bowling social. Rozalen was assigned to Tom's team (he was the team captain). The bowling social required each team to pick a theme and dress up. As team captain Tom was in charge of the theme. He chose "Gym Class Heroes", which required only athletic clothes, so it was definitely a guy who picked the costumes! While they were bowling, no matter how hard Tom tried, his shirt never seemed to completely touch the top of his shorts and Rozalen found it completely endearing! She doesn’t know why and Tom hates when she tells people that, but she knew she wanted to go out with him. After bowling, came dinner at the bowling alley diner, where Rozalen sat next to Tom. He asked what she was doing after, and Rozalen lied and told him that she was going to grab a drink at a nearby bar (it was a complete lie, she had no plans, she just wanted to hang out with Tom). Tom said "I would be up for that". They went to Blackstar COOP and had a great time. Tom said he would like to hang out again, but he didn't get her number, so she figured she wouldn't hear from him. The next day a work, Rozalen got an IM from Tom asking for her number, so she gave it to him and the rest is history!

The proposal was everything that I have ever wanted. It was just the two of us at our home. I was getting ready to go to his parent's for Christmas and when I came out of the bathroom, the ring was sitting on my nightstand. I put it on and that was that. The ring and the proposal were perfect!
