Usually, helping someone move doesn't get you much more than warm beer and cold pizza. But back in 2019, in the middle of hauling an endless amount of his friend's junk, Ryan got himself a date – all thanks to a set-up carefully constructed by Ryan's coworker, Lauren, and Sarah's roommate, Leah. A few days (and even more freight elevator trips) later, Sarah and Ryan met for the first time over dinner. After five hours, they would be asked to leave because the restaurant had, apparently, closed quite some time earlier. More dates, with more respect paid to the staff's time, soon followed. At first, their longest trips were to the coffee shop. But eventually, Sarah would share her love of traveling. Coffee runs turned into Colorado hikes, New York nights, and Florida relaxation. As the miles grew, so did their bond. One thousand and twenty-three days and five Taylor Swift albums later (two re-records obviously), Ryan popped the question at the Conservatory Garden in New York City’s Central Park.
