We Do, We Did, We Eloped!

After having already ordered a ring, Danny surprised Katie with Disneyland tickets for Valentine's Day. The couple were set to visit on March 10th but the rain changed their plans. So, instead of proposing at the happiest place on earth, Danny proposed at home first thing in the morning (arguably also the happiest place on earth). It was so sweet and simple! And the couple's pup, Luna, was able to share in the excitement!

Since Danny & Katie both wanted an intimate ceremony, and the couple already had a Vegas trip planned with Clarisa & Rishi (Danny's sister and brother-in-law), they thought that this would be the perfect opportunity. The couple quickly began searching for venues in Vegas but were disappointed with the cheesy chapels; then, they stumbled upon the sunrise desert ceremony option. It was a done deal! The service was all-inclusive, so all they had to do was keep a secret! No one, including Clarisa & Rishi, knew that the couple was engaged and planning their elopement. Danny & Katie surprised Clarisa & Rishi at dinner the night before. The two were ecstatic with the news! Although this was a private ceremony, please know that you were in their hearts.

In the midst of buying a ring and planning a proposal, Danny received exciting news from the Air Force - a move to Pensacola, Florida! So, following "the question," Danny asked Katie to move with him to Florida (umm, of course?!!). The couple is excited to not only begin their next chapter as Mr. & Mrs. but to embark on a new journey across the country and buy their first home (also Danny is from Florida so it's literally the best news ever).
