We found each other in the most unexpected way—on Plenty of Fish back in 2017. What started as simple messages quickly grew into conversations. It didn’t take long before we planned our first date. He came to pick me up, and we went to the sweetest little mom-and-pop Italian restaurant in La Habra. Everything felt so easy—we talked, laughed, and connected like we’d known each other for years. After dinner, we wandered into a cozy bookstore, and in a little corner tucked between the shelves, with music playing softly above us, we ended up dancing. It was unplanned, sweet, and a moment we'd never forget. From there, our story just kept growing—through long talks and Skype calls, going to the movies, attending local fairs, exploring museums, cheering each other on at events, trying new foods, and hiking trails. Slowly and naturally, we let each other into our worlds, and everything felt right. After four months of growing closer, we made it official on April 4, 2017. From meeting each other’s families to balancing busy schedules, we kept choosing one another—through every high, every challenge, and every ordinary day. We shared milestones and built a foundation of love and trust, growing something steady, lasting, and deeply meaningful. Then came June 10, 2023. We were hiking in Lake Arrowhead, when he suddenly stopped, looked at me with that familiar warmth, and got down on one knee. In that quiet, beautiful moment, he asked me to be his forever—and I said YES! Now, after years of laughter, growth, adventures, and memories we cherish, we’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you!
