Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL)

The Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is conveniently located via shuttle bus or car service 19 minutes away from an abundant amount of hotel accommodations in Waikiki. If you are staying on the Eastside of the island in Kailua/ Kaneohe and are renting a car, it will take you about 26 mins to get there. Lastly, if you're are staying on the North Side of the island in the North Shore it will take you about 36 mins driving from the airport.

Transportation Information

Please note: It would be most beneficial to rent a car while you're staying on the island to ensure ease of transportation so you can really experience the beautiful locations Oahu has to offer. However, please rent a car EARLY, the prices of car rentals are exorbitant and availability is limit so please plan ahead! Uber and Lyft are available on Oahu however, in some locations on the island such as the North Shore there aren't as many drivers operating and you may wait upwards of 30-40 mins for them to pick you up, so please plan accordingly if you decide not to rent a car.

Turtle Bay is a beautiful resort on the North Shore of Oahu which hosts private beaches, full spa, and a noteworthy golf course. Rooms per night have increased during COVID and the price per night start anywhere from $350-600 per night. This hotel is located 38 mins driving from our wedding reception at Kualoa Ranch.

Courtyard by Marriott Oahu North Shore

This oceanfront hotel is located right off Kamehameha Highway, just steps away from the beach. Positioned near several of Laie's popular destinations, including the Polynesian Cultural Center and Kaukauna Point. Rooms range from $180-$300. It is located 24 mins driving from our wedding reception at Kualoa Ranch.

Housing Information: House Rentals

IMPORTANT: Hawaii has been actively fining those home owners that do not have a permit for a legitimate Airbnb/VRBO so the supply of Airbnb's will be very limited, especially on the North Shore. Please plan to book accommodations EARLY to ensure your ideal location for your vacation. If you are unable to rent an Airbnb/VRBO there are many hotels in Waikiki and the surrounding downtown area.
