It’s happening! We’re getting married!

Roger had been leading up to popping the question, officially on Christmas Eve! There were some hints of his plans since November, when he asked for my mom and dad’s blessings since they were in town for the Thanksgiving holiday… he and my mom had a covert operation which I now title, “Operation Fool Julie”, lol. But, as many of you already know me, I was on to them from the beginning 😊! No less, it still was a beautiful surprise and in the company of my old faithful ‘wing-man’ Cousin Chris! Roger then called mom & dad on Facetime (his partners in crime), since they had been anticipating this call for weeks after they flew back home to Cuba/Jamaica after Thanksgiving, and needless to say, they were both excited and congratulatory, even though they already knew it was coming! Roger also made sure to include our kids and let them see the ring, and got their “approval” as well! 🥰
