We cannot wait to finally celebrate with you!

In Fall 2018 my cousin Kate, also my bridesmaid, was studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland. Alongside my cousins and our friends, we decided to travel to Dublin and spend the Thanksgiving holiday with her. And of course so some sight seeing. On November 22nd, Thanksgiving day, our group headed off to the Cliffs of Moher for a day trip. While walking along the edges of the cliffs we decided to take some pictures, and it was while taking a picture together, Patrick got down on one knee. Since then, with so much going on with the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to make the difficult choice to postpone our September 2020 wedding until October 16, 2021. We can say with certainty, that we did not ever expect to have to make this decision, but we knew we did the right thing by keeping our friends and family safe. What we didn't know however, was when the pandemic would clear up, and if we would even be able to have our wedding in 2021 after all. With that in mind, and having already waited almost two years, we decided to tie the knot in a small ceremony with immediate family on October 18, 2020. We were so sad to not have everyone there with us, but are so happy to finally be husband and wife. We hope that 2021 will be a much happier year, and that we will still have the opportunity to celebrate with each of you, with great food, great company, and of course LOTS of dancing.
