In January, we will have 1/2 day charters available for up to 6 people. The cost is $550 for the group. We can do surf fishing classes at $50 per person. You can buy your own fishing gear for $60 per person and fish on the beach. Give me a call to discuss the options. Thank you Keith 252-453-9500
The 45 minutes ride across the Currituck Sound on the Currituck-Knotts Island Ferry is free and does not require any reservations. There is a school and summer schedule that changes the day after school ends and changes again on the first day of school.

We are open year round to schedule trips to see the wild horses. However, in the off season, the museum store is only open Monday – Saturday 10:00 – 4:00 and Sunday 10:00 – 2:00
The lighthouse will be closed & unavailable to enter; however, the site still offers an excellent background for pictures.

Whalehead is a beautifully restored 1920s Art Nouveau style residence that is open to the public for museum tours. Restored in 1992 to its original glory, the Whalehead is now open year-round for tours. Inside, you’ll see Mrs. Knight’s Steinway piano and petite Art Nouveau “grandmother” clock, as well as many elite-at-the-time amenities including original Tiffany glass sconces, corduroy walls, cork flooring, Otis elevator and a a cast-iron safe within an ornate, marble-topped sideboard. The Memorial is currently undergoing renovation and will not be fully functional until late spring of 2018. The grounds will be open and a smaller bookstore facility will be available.
The grounds of Fort Raleigh National Historic Site are open from sunrise to sunset all year-round. The Lindsay Warren Visitor Center hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm seven days a week.
