I met Erica on the first day of 4th grade. There have been years where we were separated by miles, people, and life; but whenever we are together, we pick up right where we've left off. A friend like her has been there before hard times approach, during my lowest moments, and after disappointments leave me feeling like the world is against me. I can always count on her phone call to take me away for a few hours. Today we are no longer children. We are no longer teenagers. Those times have been separated by years. We are now adults. We are successful. We are strong. We have built each other up and will continue to have each other's backs for many years to come.

Best Man
When I first met Pete Tijerina, I had no idea that he would be such an important part of my life. For over 20 years, we've shared homes and have forged a strong network of extended family and friends. We have traveled the U.S. together and realized our teenage dreams of making music and playing big shows - those years are an adventure that I will always look back upon with no regrets. But after an extended adolescence, we've now reached the pinnacle of mid to late adulthood. We have responsibilities, careers, student loans, homes, etc. etc., ad nauseam. We are at the point that we can have dinner together and never say one word to each other. Pete is probably one of the few who can most accurately predict and read me. It is an honor to have this man be my best man for my wedding day.
