When Robin and Christopher met on Hinge, Robin saw his disc golfing pictures. She had played in the past before because there was a small course next to her house. Since she'd last played, that course had grown a lot and little did she know, Christopher played there all the time. He suggested lunch and disc golf as a first date, and he picked that exact course just because she mentioned she was familiar with it, so they soon after met for the first time at Casa Jimenez. Covid was still running wild, so they had a meal outside getting to know each other better. Once they were done, Christopher offered to drive us together to the disc golf course to make sure Robin knew where it was and wouldn't get lost (but Robin knows better than to get in a stranger's car (and he didn't know she lived right next to the park)). When they got there, Christopher showed her some techniques on warming up and throwing properly. Clearly, Robin wasn't the best at this but he was very nice and positive as they played. Christopher wasn't sure how far he should go to help her, so when Robin could tell he wanted to give some pointers she welcomed it and he just lifted her elbow to help her form. It worked. When the round was over, Christopher and Robin were talking in the parking lot for a long time about several things. He was excitingly explaining all his paintball days, demonstrating techniques by hiding behind cars for visuals. Robin was having fun listening and learning about Christopher's hobbies. Now that Robin realized there was no stranger danger, she pointed out that she lived in walking distance of the park and they laughed about it. And that was the beginning of forever <3
