Best Man
JJ is my younger brother and the humor in the family. He may be taller, stronger, and more athletic than me, but I'm the one getting married so... who's the real winner here?
Maid of Honor
Emilie and I were roomates for all 4 years of college. She taught me a lot, but I'm still waiting for her to teach me how to milk a cow. There is never a dull moment with Emilie around, and she is now a medical surgical nurse in Minnesota.
Groomsman
Grant was my college sweetheart, roommate, and kicking buddy for 4 years. A few extra semesters and a ruptured spleen separated us in the end but I still love the guy.
Bridesmaid
I met Hayley on the first day of college. If you're trying to find her on the wedding day, you can either listen for her loud and contagious laugh or just look on the dance floor.
Groomsman
Johnny and I have known each other since high school where we use to kick footballs for the O'Dea Fighting Irish. Although he barely makes the groomsman minimum height/weight limit I couldn't imagine our day without his witty comments.
Bridesmaid
Jacqui is Robbie's younger sister. She lived with Robbie and I for a summer but ultimately decided she liked her version of SD better than ours. I can't wait to have Jacqui as my official sister soon.
Groomsman
Nathan is Melissa's older brother, although he could never quite pull the big brother card on me since only 8 months separate us. Respect was earned over a game of Rummy and a bottle of Forty Creek.
Bridesmaid
Chloe and I met in world geography freshman year of high school. She is the only person I would drive an hour and a half with just to go to a boutique. If stranded on an island, Chloe would bring her dog and a bottle of champagne.
Groomsman
Jake and I grew up 25 miles apart in WA, but didn't meet until we played college football together 1300mi from home. He was a roommate for 3 years, my fishing buddy, and always in bed before everyone else.
Bridesmaid
Micayla was the girl who lived across the hall who quickly became a third roommate. Everyone needs a friend like Micayla because she says it like it is. If it weren't for her, Robbie and I would never have met. Micayla is now a NICU nurse in Iowa.
Groomsman
Montey wasn't really introduced to the college roommate group until junior year outside of a few math tutoring sessions and the football team. With a burning passion for math and lifting heavy things, almost as red hot as his hair, Montrel would end up being one of my favorite nerds.
Bridesmaid
I met Gracie on the first day of college too. She is the mom of the group and if it's mom's night to cook, we are going to Taco Johns. Gracie is a hospice nurse in Iowa and a dog mom to her sweet goldendoodle Murphy!
