Suzanne and the Leopold family have had a special connection for many years, but it wasn't until Sarah Leopold's (Robert's sister) wedding day that Suzanne and Robert finally met. Suzanne worked with Bob (Robert's dad) closely for years at Zimmer. Sarah and Suzanne were introduced through Bob when Sarah moved back to PA and started working for Zimmer too. They became instant friends. Suzanne and her good friends (aka "work parents" - because they took Suzanne under their wings) Judy, Nanette, Michelle and their husbands traveled to Indiana PA for Sarah and Shawn's wedding. Suzanne knew Sarah had two brothers, but had never met them...until that day. Judy/Brian, Nanette/Doug, Michelle/Rand were the match makers and determined to hook up Suzanne and Robert. In true fashion (with her long armed reach) Suzanne caught the bouquet and Robert's younger brother Philip caught the garter. Plot twist. It took some coaxing and a couple drinks to get over the shyness...but the "wing parents" finally connected Robert and Suzanne. Thanks to Rand asking the Leopold boys, "Hey, where's the after party at?" Since that night, Suzanne and Robert have spoken every day. For a whole year, Robert would drive 3.5 hours from Indiana after work Friday evening to come spend the weekend with Suzanne in Harrisburg. The long distance ended when Robert landing an amazing Graphic Design job in Harrisburg and moved into an apartment down the road from Suzanne. A year after that Suzanne kicked out her downstairs neighbor (just kidding) and Robert moved into the cute carriage house apartment below her. Suzanne and Robert enjoy the outdoors, hiking, biking, running, beach trips, and exploring new adventures together. They love walking across the street to practice yoga and have become close friends with the owners Mike and Millie (and the pups). Dorothy and Jim (friends and apt owners) have been so wonderful and have been cheering them on from day one!

Our love, respect, support, appreciation, and dedication to each other continues to grow more and more EVERY SINGLE DAY. We can't imagine a life without each other. We are excited for our special day and to spend it with all the people we love and who've brought us together on this journey! xoxo
