What are the event dress codes?

Answer

*None of the events take place on sand or grass, or any surface that would cause a problem for high heels.* REHEARSAL DINNER ATTIRE- Dressy Casual / Tropical (think florals, bright colors) Jackets, please, but you don’t have to wear a tie unless the mood strikes you. We know it's tropical, but please no jeans, flip flops, etc. WEDDING DAY ATTIRE - Formal / Cocktail. Suit and tie, etc. None of the events will be on grass or sand so no need to worry about what kind of heel you wear. Wedding colors are pink, orange, green, gold and silver. WEDDING THEME is Electric Disco. Dressing in theme of course isn’t required, it’s just for fun! But we’d love if you really had fun with it. Bring on that disco DRAMA! Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport in Puerto Vallarta (PVR). The hotel is a 40 minute drive from the airport.

How do I get to Garza Blanca from the airport, and vice versa?

Answer

Booking a shuttle ahead of time will be easiest, and the resorts offer a good deal on shuttles when booking your room. You can simply add them to your cart when reserving a room via our booking links. This is a great option for smaller groups and solo travelers. We have discounted rates for larger private shuttles available on the Travel Resources page. Taxis and Ubers are available at the airport if you do not reserve in advance. Both options may be cheaper but are unpredictable. That being said, it will be easy to reserve a cab for your return trip back to the airport if you’d like to hold off on reserving a second shuttle. Question

I'm traveling to the wedding by myself. What are my options?

Answer

You are certainly welcome to book your own room, but the cost per-night does goes up significantly when a room is occupied by only one person. Sharing a two bed suite with another traveler does bring that cost back down, so please contact Rob or Lauren if you are interested in sharing a room with another solo wedding guest. We'd be happy to pair you up with another one of our amazing friends or family members.

What's the difference between Garza Blanca and Hotel Mousai?

Hotel Mousai is the newer, adults-only section within the larger, family-friendly Garza Blanca Resort. All guests who stay at Hotel Mousai have full access to Garza Blanca in addition to the adults-only pools, restaurants, and bars at Mousai. Adults who stay at Garza Blanca can have dinner at Mousai's restaurants, pending availability. Reservations are recommended. Children are welcome at the resort but the rehearsal dinner and wedding will be adults only.

Yes, here are the rates: 1 child - $45 USD per hr. 2 children - $70 USD per hr. 3 children - $75 USD per hr.

Yes! There is a kids club at the resort with fun activities for kids all day long, seven days a week.
