Disneyland
If you know anything about us (or have been stalking our Instagrams), you know we love Disneyland! If you have a free day while in L.A., you have to go! Take lots of pictures, eat some dole whip, ride Space Mountain in our honor.
Angel City Brewery
We like to drink and when we (Maritza) is feeling in a beer kind of mood, this is where we go.
Bottega Louie
This is more Maritza's recommendation: "I absolutely love this place! If you're staying in downtown Los Angeles, it's worth having lunch or dinner here just for the desserts alone. Mainly Italian food with made-to-order pizzas and delicious pastas, but with some more Mediterranean influences as well. Don't be afraid of the prices since you can split most dishes that are on the menu".
Backstage Bar & Grill
For those in a dive bar type of mood, Backstage Bar & Grill is a fun spot with prices that are almost too good to be true. It's also a karaoke bar on the weekends. Interesting story, we had our first kiss here after Vince showed off his awesome dance moves.
Hollywood Sign Hike
Cross this off your bucket list. There are 3 possible routes to take to make it to top. Keep in mind that while you can get near the sign, you won't be able to get too close. The hike takes about 3 hours to complete.
Santa Monica Pier
The site of our second date. After getting his car back from the tow center (long story), this is where we went to test each other in feats of strength. Amazing views and a fun time to be had by all.
C&O Cucina
Part of our second date adventure. Great Italian food. Amazing, addicting, hot from the kitchen killer garlic rolls. Delicious chocolate martinis.
Tokyo Shabu Shabu- Pasadena
We both love shabu shabu. If you've never had it before it's worth checking out. Eat good food while you enjoy the Korean pop music videos that play on their tv's.
