Flight
London Heathrow is the closest international airport. Upon arrival, the quickest route to Wales is to take the Heathrow Express train to London Paddington, then connect to a direct Great Western Railway (GWR) train to Swansea, getting off at either Cardiff or Bridgend. This provides a great opportunity to stopover in London before or after the wedding should you wish. There is a more direct coach option from London Heathrow, details of which you can find in the FAQ section of our website. Upon arrival in Wales, we recommend taking a taxi or Uber to your final destination. There is also the option of hiring a rental car directly from London Heathrow Airport. Just remember you'll need to drive on the other side of the road :)
Travel Note
For anyone driving from the South of England, we recommend taking the M4 past Newport and Cardiff until you reach the best junction for your final destination. If you're coming from the Midlands or the North of England, we recommend taking the M5 and changing onto the M4 around Newport. Alternatively, you can choose to treat yourself to the more protracted A40 and the Wye Valley, which has the official UK designation of being an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
