The dress code for our wedding is Formal but not Black-Tie, so a suit & tie, cocktail dresses, and gowns are all welcome. Although June is one of the warmer/drier months in Wales, the weather is changeable so we recommend bringing an extra layer in case it cools down at night. We'll also provide umbrellas on the day should the worst happen.
Please see the Travel tab for accommodation recommendations in the area. Please note that many are small inns with limited space so we recommend booking as soon as possible.
Public transport is limited within the local area so Ubers and taxis are the easiest way to get around. We will be providing group transport on the day of the wedding from—and back to—The Vale Resort, The Bear Hotel in Cowbridge, and The Old Swan Inn in Llantwit Major.

Absolutely! June is a wonderful time to visit the UK... The quickest and easiest stopover is London. Trains from London Heathrow Airport and Wales all connect at London Paddington Train Station. Alternatively, Cardiff, the capital of Wales and is another great option for a city break where you can visit attractions such as the Cardiff Castle and the Principality Stadium. For a more relaxing escape, Bath, named after its Roman-built baths, has been a wellbeing destination for centuries. Most train and coach routes from London go via here. Finally, for a more outdoor adventure, hire a rental car and explore the Brecon Beacons for stunning scenery and quaint historic towns and villages.
No problem! Please let us know in advance so we can arrange accordingly.
