I was at a party with my friend and I noticed Richard sitting outside alone. I walked over and started talking to him he seemed like he was interested. I asked him if he would stay because he had to leave. The next day I found him on Facebook and asked him out and we have been together ever since.

We were in California for Emerie's first Disneyland trip. We went to a character breakfast with Minnie Mouse. I had no idea what was coming next. Richard told me we are doing a group photo with a bunch of different characters at the wishing well. I was excited but unaware. We got to the wishing well and a bunch of photographers showed up but no characters. Richard got down on one knee. He asked me to marry him I said YES!
