Started back in the summer of June 2005 where Elgin was working at McDonalds lol (👩🏾don't judge me😂 ) Strolling by the drive thru window being super loud for no apparent reason I spotted her and had to do a double take and screamed out "HEYYYYYY GIRL!! (👩🏾 He lying he tried to play that line "dont I know you from somewhere") Because aint no way she could've been real! I started to let her go, but in the back of my mind I said "Hell nah....ima get'm!! So I leaned out the drive thru window after she moved up and yelled "So you gon let me call you?!!" And with a big ass smile on her face she said "Yea and yelled her number back to me" (👩🏾Now to my defense I was laughing at him and meant to give the wrong number but panicked and before I even made it home he called to check to see if it was really me 😂😂😂

High school sweethearts trying to have a long distance relationship is not easy. We made it through some of my college years but of course life happens. Over the years we've had major trials and tribulations that not only tested our faith but tore us apart. Still, throughout those times we've held a piece of each others lives to heart that no one could understand or separate. Truth be told those times helped each of us grow as individuals and it was needed. However we knew that if we needed each other we were just a phone call away. Little did we know it would literally take an act of God in a hospital room to sit us down and lead us on the right Road💖

After fighting this man for almost 15 years I have come to the conclusion that I just can't win lol. The heart wants what the heart wants. So on my birthday Elgin planned a full day. This man that has jokes 99.99% of time but on this day he was all nerves and panic. You could see it all over his face 🤣 He was dropping hints from the moment I called him that morning. The first card read " I appreciate all you've done for me this far and since today is yours ..... you getting everything your heart desires" Aww sweet right, just keep in mind I had to wait 15 years to get it 😂 Ok fast forward to dinner where I begged the servers not to give me the typical birthday song but I let her talk me into bringing the birthday dessert, or so I thought. Instead on the plate were the words " Marry Me" and the rest is just history in the making. We have overcame some of the most darkest times as growing adults only to flourish as a strong and unified duo. I have always told Audrea I prayed for someone like her before we even met. (👩🏾 now that's true lol) There is nothing more on this earth more peaceful than understanding and knowing the person you're spending the rest of your life with from the inside out and God has blessed me with her!! #RoadtoRhodan 👰🏾🤵🏾💖
