Travel Tips

A valid passport is required for travel to Mexico, from your point of origin. If you have a passport, check that your passport does not expire within six months of travel. If you do not have a passport, processing times are generally 4-6 weeks for routine services, excluding mailing times. Therefore, it is necessary to apply well in advance of your travel date. We recommend monitoring flight/hotel prices and booking early for the best availability, as February is a popular travel season in Cancun. The wedding will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2027. We’ll be hosting optional events throughout the week leading up to the wedding. If you’d like to attend additional gatherings, we recommend arriving earlier in the week.

Cancun International Airport (CUN)

Most guests will fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN). We recommend booking early for the best prices and flexible or refundable fares since some event details are still being finalized. Many hotels in Cancún offer airport shuttle or transportation services - more on that below.

Budget-friendly & Value Options Airbnb - Excellent for families or groups who want space, kitchens, or a home-like stay. Mayan Monkey Cancun Hostel - Private or shared rooms available. The bride, groom, their immediate family, and the wedding party will be staying in a private community of villas booked via Airbnb. There are additional villas able to reserve in the community, however they are first come, first serve. Contact the bride or groom for additional details.

Travel Note

Transportation Tips

It is important to pre-book transportation to your hotel from the airport. If you do not pre-book, be prepared to pay higher prices (~200 USD) for the taxi at the airport for an ~15 minute drive. Uber: Available and most cost-effective way to get from place to place in Cancún. Uber pickup is NOT available from the airport, however it is available to the airport. Airport Transfers: Many hotels offer shuttle or transfer services from the airport - booking these ahead of time is significantly cheaper than the taxis at the airport. Pre‑Booked Private Vans: If you’re unsure about hotel shuttles, private transfers (booked in advance) are a good alternative and help avoid high taxi prices outside the terminal.
