Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ), the second closest airport to Telluride and just a scenic 1 hour and 20 minute drive to town. (Most travelers use this airport when flying to Telluride) We will have a discounted shuttle service set up from this airport to accommodate guests. Telluride Regional Airport (TEX): Minutes from town, however, limited service via Denver Air. Other airport options: Grand Junction (GJT), Durango (DRO), Gunnison (GUC): About a 2.5-hour drive, all serviced by major airlines—great for guests open to renting a car.

Essential Info for a Safe Stay
Telluride sits at 8,750 feet, and our ceremony and reception venues are even higher - please take these safety tips seriously. -Hydrate well in the days leading up to your trip and throughout your stay. Altitude can be dehydrating. -Take it easy on alcohol, especially your first day. -Rest when needed—fatigue is common at higher altitudes. -Eat light meals and avoid heavy exertion right away. -If you’re prone to altitude sickness, talk to your doctor beforehand about preventative options. -Consider arriving a day or two early to acclimate before wedding festivities begin! Telluride Town sits at the end of a box canyon and is the more populated area full of bars, restaurants and activities. It conjures the genuine historic feel of an old mining town. The Gondola runs daily from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and will run until 2:00 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Once you arrive, a car isn’t necessary.
We highly recommend staying in Telluride for ease and convenience—all events except the wedding day will take place in town. If you decide to stay in Mountain Village or other surrounding areas, Dial-A-Ride offers free, on-demand transportation. Call (970) 728-8888 to schedule. Rental cars are available at the airport for travel to and from Telluride. **Tip: Airport rental counters may close early—confirm your reservation ahead of time and double check their counter hours. **There is no Uber or Lyft in Telluride.
